Discussion Summary

The group reflects on some of the advances in cane design that make them much more than the inert assistive devices of the past. The idea of adding a light, a stable multi-prong base, 'break-down' for easy stowage, and even a cane that makes into a temporary resting place were part of this lively discussion.

The discussion was guided using a presentation of some popular canes found by Tech-enhanced Life member Marie Mika. Her presentation is below.
