Discussion Summary

Longevity Explorers at Saratoga Retirement Community are introduced to Reminder Rosie, a memory aid in the form of a talking alarm clock.

The group gives Reminder Rosie a good reception, proposing interesting use cases from personal experience. Explorer Kay spoke about other voice operated devices such as Siri (iPhone), Alexa (Amazon Echo), and Amazon's Fire Stick. She wishes that they would offer languages other than English, for conversational practice.

The group is receptive to the idea of voice operated assistance.

In the conversation about Alexa, the explorers were womdering if Alexa could do voice reminders. We did some googling. Surprisingly it seems Alexa does NOT do reminders.
