Discussion Summary

One of the circle members reported back from a presentation at UC Davis on an interesting new "tracking watch" for dementia patients. We discussed the class of devices, and the circumstances in which they might be useful, and what sort of features might be more or less useful.

There are several examples of this class of device on this website. We are not sure whether the product talked about at UC Davis was one of these or something similar.

For example:

  • Lok8u
  • GeoTrac Solutions (Now called LaiPac)
  • iLOC Technologies - Personal Emergency Response Device (now called TriLOC)
  • Project Lifesaver: Location tracking

See links to the products further down the page.
