Analyst Summary: MobileHelp   |  Duo

The “MobileHelp Duo” allows for out and about operation using a second mobile base station, but still has small, light pendants with long battery life.

This product was part of our testing of the best “go anywhere” class of emergency response systems, and is one of our recommended products.
See our analysis of go anywhere medical alert systems here

MobileHelp makes this product and sells it to consumers, but they also wholesale it to a variety of companies that rebrand it and sell it to consumers. The MobileHelp product runs on the AT&T network.

We acquired this product from LifeFone.

The picture above shows the conventional pendant, and on the MobileHelp image below you can also see a different fall detection pendant, which is one of two which we got from LifeFone. This fall detection technology was part of the Halo Monitoring acquisition by MobileHelp.

  1. Thanks for such a great site!
Thanks for such a great site! Regarding the “MobileHelp, Duo”, the product is evaluated as having fall detection, but both here and on the manufacturer’s site, it’s unclear if wearing the “wrist button” alone provides fall detection. could you clarify this?
