Analyst Summary: Medical Guardian | Mobile Guardian
This PERS has the advantage of "working pretty much anywhere". It is a rebranded version of the MobileHelp Solo. When "out and about" you need to carry both the mobile base station and your emergency pendant. Medical Guardian does not offer a fall detection pendant.
The mobile base station connects to the monitoring service via a cellular connection.
Mobile Base Station
Here is the mobile base station. You can see from the image that it appears to be the same system as offered by a number of the other vendors in this guide. We acquired the version sold by Lifefone, but we think our findings are applicable here too. Read what we thought of the Lifefone product here.
This is a rebranded version of the Mobile Help Solo product, which itself is a portion of the MobileHelp Cellular Duo (the LifeFone product we bought and referred to above is also a rebranded MobileHelp product).
