My Background:

I started Tender Rose Home Care in 2009 based on my personal experience with my mother’s Alzheimer’s disease. The type of home care my family was looking for did not exist. We wanted caregivers who were experienced, trained, and who specialized in taking care of people like my mother.

Today, Tender Rose employs over 50 highly trained, experienced Memory Care Professionals who provide reliable, consistent one-on-one dementia care to our clients in their homes and in facilities. Our specialty is working with the most challenging cases, including patients who resist care, and who are agitated, combative, and even physically violent.

To learn more about why I started Tender Rose, here is a short article, “The Story of Tender Rose Home Care.”

Tender Rose provides each client with an iPad, and we train our Memory Care Professionals to use the iPad for three purposes:

  1. Communicating with other members of the caregiving team (including family members)
  2. Improving their dementia care knowledge through training modules that are relevant to their client and delivered to the point of care when needed.
  3. Engaging their client in iPad-based activities that bring joy and meaning to the patient’s life.

As a company, Tender Rose is committed to using technology to improve the care we provide our clients.
