LE AI Topics Sept 2022

Longevity Explorers prioritize and select topics for discussion from a list of problems of getting older. And discuss the problem area: "Emotional Well Being".

Problems, Products, Use Cases: Physical

The first meeting of the Longevity Explorer Circle: Smarthomes, Robots, AI took place on May 24, 2022. We discussed the plans for the circle and did two "segments" on problems, use cases and products to get started. This segment was about "Physical" (see the definition below).

This discussion was focused on: Smart Homes, Robots and AI that can help with physical things like lifting, getting out of bed, moving around the groceries, opening the shades and more.

Problems, Products, Use Cases: Social

This Circle

A virtual Explorer Circle investigating solutions for the biggest challenges of growing older, those most impacted by existing and emerging Robotic, Smart Home and Artificial Intelligence offerings.

This group will take a fresh look at some of the long-standing challenges of aging — and investigate how new offerings from the realms of robotics, smart home technology and artificial intelligence can mitigate those challenges.

Topics include:

  • what products exist;
  • which are best and why;
  • what innovative technologies are emerging; and
  • what doesn’t yet exist but is needed .

 Our goal is to create insights useful for older adults and their families, and for ourselves. Outputs will include articles and other media on the Tech-enhanced Life website, available for free to people around the world.
