Locked Out? Keeping Track of Passwords

As part of a discussion on technology support, the Virtual1 Explorers Circle acknowledged the ever growing need to keep track of a large number of passwords for online sites. For many, the task has become beyond what can conveniently be done with pen and paper.  Solutions mentioned the adoption of an online password management system. Sometimes that system was combined with the password for that system (and a few other essentials) being stored either in a coded system in the cloud or in a computer file. The dilemma of the security of the password management system and password information as an critical item to ­passed to the next generation was considered.
