The group had the opportunity to try out several kinds of canes which had various features built in.

They included:

  • A cane with a light built into the lower portion.
  • A cane with a swiveling lamp built into the handle, and which extended like a hiking pole.
  • A cane which was height adjustable with an swivel lamp, a flashing red light for night safety, and a shrill alarm.
