Discussion Summary

Explorer Marilyn discusses her search for a fitness tracker which measures heart rate. Her search took her to an Apple Store where she learned about the Wahoo, which, with a downloadable app keeps track of heart rate as well as distance covered - even by bicycle. The group asks questions and discusses some alternative devices, such as the Fitbit, reflecting on their personal experiences with them. Others question the necessity of close measurement of biometrics in older adults.
