Discussion Summary

Explorer Jean Marie now owns an Amazon Echo and wants the group to discuss the device ("Alexa"). Another group member volunteers that she also recently bought one, and joins the discussion of the Echo's many uses.

Various questions arise - from applications to connectivity - including distinguishing between Alexa and Siri. The issue of privacy arises as the group discusses whether the Echo is a listening device.

Interestingly, five months ago, when this group last discussed the Amazon Echo, none of the members owned one.
