Discussion Summary

Explorer Lynn tells the group about gloves that need not be removed to operate the touchscreen of many electronic devices.

A merchant in her residential building offers winter gloves with finger and thumb pads of a substance which allows the wearer to operate a touchscreen while wearing them. A member who knits adds that there is a yarn available with a filament to knit into the fingertip when knitting gloves.

Other comments:

  • Are they available in right and/or left handed styles?
  • Fingerless gloves may do the job in a less harsh climate like San Francisco.
  • They may be a perfect gift idea for a teenager.
