Discussion Summary

EVC Explorers are introduced to the idea of using a smartphone app to summon help in an emergency. Some (like 5 Star or LifeFone) offer an app as well as a 'push button' device, and the response procedure is the same whether the alert is sent by a wearable push button device or via the smartphone. Members have a number of questions about the various apps and wearables that shed light on the differences.
