Co-Housing by Longevity Explorers: Recent @ Providence

Member Gary Leib describes the concept of Co-Housing and the efforts being made by a group in Providence to find a suitable site on which to convert a building or to build a Co-Housing community. They seek a multi-age group of from twenty to forty people dedicated to create a community in which each person or family has separate housing, but also agrees to the ethic of helping one another, sharing communal meals, and providing neighborly assistance in various ways—the older neighbors caring for toddlers, for example, and the younger neighbors doing household chores. For more information about the Providence co-housing group see here.
