Discussion Summary

Explorer Marilyn tells the group about a book she recently read which tends to view the experience of aging in a more positive light. The author, according to Marilyn, brings a message that evokes new appreciation in later life for experiences and relationships - which she believes can enrich the process of growing older.

She finds the message (and the title) both uplifting and a useful tool for reaching out to others and building friendships as a way to fend off the isolation that can steal the joy of longevity.
