Next Fractional Explorer Workshop

We hold a Fractional Explorer Workshop every month.

Applications close on the 15th of the prior month.

Longevity Explorer workshops are confidential, facilitated, group discussions of older adults on a topic relevant to a specific client company. They can also be hands-on, participatory design engagements.

Companies use Longevity Explorer workshops for a variety of reasons. The common theme is a desire to get independent, objective feedback about the needs, or opinions of a group of intellectually curious older adults in their 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90's. This is an especially powerful way to get responses to new products, or to new ideas, relating to this hard-to-reach demographic.

Instead of running an entire 2 hour workshop for a single company, we are experimenting with running an event which includes several "fractional" workshops back-to-back — each for a single company. It's a way to get many of the benefits of a full custom explorer workshop, but in a rather cost-effective way.

Limited Space.

We only have room for a handful of companies to participate in each fractional workshop. Each company will get its own dedicated, private, 30 minute fractional workshop.

We chose participants, based in part on how early you apply, and in part on how intriguing your project / product seems to our explorers. [Sorry, it is a bit subjective.]

So, ... if you are interested, please apply as soon as possible.

Pricing.

  • The price for one fractional workshop "slot" is $1,475, payable upon acceptance to the workshop.
  • There is no fee to apply.

Not Based In California?

That is OK. You don't need to attend the workshop in person, as it will be expertly facilitated on your behalf. The session will be audio-taped. And if you want, you can attend via remote telepresence robot.

If you are outside North America and want to dip your toe in the water of the US older adult consumer mindset, this is a great way to do it.

If you do want to attend in person, you can — in a "watch but don't talk" capacity. :)
