From the Tech-enhanced Life Resource Database:
Tools for improving the quality of life as we grow older — shared by the Tech-enhanced Life community.
The ability to put shoes on and off without having to use hands can benefit people in rehab as well as older adults with small motor or arthritic deficits. This novel product may solve a multitude of problems.
From the website: "It turns out we were not alone in our struggle to put shoes on. I found out that MANY people have various types of physical or cognitive challenges that make it difficult to do this simple task that most of us take for granted. Either they outright can’t do it, or doing so causes them a great deal of pain and effort. In either case, their quality-of-life suffers and their independence is reduced because they often have to rely on others to put their shoes on for them –just as Alex relied on me."

Tech-enhanced Life Resource Database
This is one of hundreds of products and resources in the Tech-enhanced Life database of "useful products and resources".
The theme of this collection of resources is "tools we can use to help improve our quality of life as we grow older".
We have no vested interest in any of these products or services, but we have collected descriptions of them, and organized them according to various themes relating to the challenges of aging — so older adults and their families can find useful products they do not yet know about.
Members of Tech-enhanced Life can search by categories, add reviews of the products, and see links to the manufacturer's websites where they can buy the products.
Note: If you want to support our work, please use these links when you buy any of the products we write about, as we sometimes get a small percentage of the sale from the manufacturer, which we use to support our research. (This does not effect the price you pay).
