Analyst Summary: Alert1 Pax Plus: On-the-Go and Home Fall Detection

This is a go-anywhere pendant with built in fall detection capability.

When out and about you take a large-ish mobile pendant with you. But when at home you can put that mobile pendant in its charge cradle, and use a smaller pendant that can communicate to the charging cradle, which acts a bit like a base station.

This is a rebranded version of the Libris product made by Numera.

We included an older version of this Numera Libris product (the Medical Guardian | Premium Guardian) in our comparative evaluation of mobile medical alerts.

  • A small "mobile" pendant;
  • A somewhat larger fall detection, go-anywhere pendant that looks identical to the premium Guardian we tested from Medical Guardian.
