This page contains our Alert1 Kelsi On-the-Go Fall Detection review.
Analyst Summary: Alert1 Kelsi On-the-Go Fall Detection
This is a go anywhere mobile alert with fall detection. It is a direct competitor for the products we reviewed in our comparative evaluation of mobile medical alerts.
This is a rebranded version of the Belle+ made by wholesaler Freeus. It has a couple of noteworthy features, in addition to those typical for products in this class.
- it includes both GPS location technology and WiFi location technology, which might make it more accurate in knowing where you are at all times (we have not tested this);
- it claims a battery life of 5 days, which is definitely longer than most of the competitors.
NOTE: Even though this looks very similar to the Alert1 Kelsi, this product is actually quite different. This product (Kelsi On-the-Go with Fall Detection) includes both fall detection and GPS location technology, whereas the Kelsi On-the-Go does not.
And this product has battery life of only 5 days, whereas the simpler Kelsi On-the-Go has up to 30 days.
Note: If you use these links when you buy any of the products we write about, we sometimes get a small percentage of the sale from the manufacturer, which we use to support our research. (This does not affect the price you pay). See How we Fund our Work.
