Karen,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with me and with others! It makes me very happy to learn that the ideas shown in the video helped you to successfully identify a way to get yourself up independently, even with an elbow and a knee out of commission...& in a room with such limited options. You turned on truly impressive MacGyer-style thinking, creatively turning the incredibly limited items that existed around you (a suitcase, clothes, cane, and a door jam) into effective tools to successfully get yourself back up again. And, as you pointed out, not only did you find a way to successfully get yourself back up again, but you prevented needing to put further strain on the first responders during these difficult times, which in turn means... you very likely helped to save someone else's life out there in the world by freeing up the medical personnel to attend to someone else in need. That 'someone' out there in the world would definitely say a big thanks to you, if they knew and could.

Receiving your nice comment today made my day brighter. Thank you for taking the time to write it! My warmest wishes to you for days ahead filled full of happiness and good health!
