I have bought two of the LogicMark Guardian Alert 911 systems for my now 90 year-old Mom. The one I bought 5 1/2 years ago did not have a rechargeable battery and she had no issues with it for 5 years and two months. She splashed a small amount of coffee on the pendant and it no longer worked. I bought her a new Guardian Alert 911 - the same LogicMark model 30911 - in February of this year and the base lasted only 6 months. The base died, even though it has a power cord that was functioning (I checked it with the old base from the original one). The FCC is evaluating the use of wireless microphones and with everyone working from home and children learning remotely from home, the wireless microphone for this product no longer works. I would not buy a LogicMark Guardian Alert again unless it is the older 30911 model that does not have a rechargeable battery. I'm super unhappy to be out $149.95.
